I was drawn to music at an early age and asked my parents for a piano at age four. Despite not growing up in a musical household, piano lessons began at age 11 but soon took a backseat to flute in the 8th grade. A small scholarship led to flute lessons before my senior year with Ervin Monroe, Principal Flutist of the Detroit Symphony. This was when I knew I needed to pursue music, for it became my passion. dennette@guildaglobal.net
